Financial Assistance

At Riverside Medical Center, we understand that medical expenses can create added stress, especially if you do not have health insurance or if your coverage does not pay the full cost of care. As a not-for-profit hospital, our mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality health services that improve the well-being of our community. If you are worried about paying your medical bill, Riverside offers several financial assistance options that may help.

What Is Financial Assistance?

Financial assistance is a program designed to reduce or eliminate healthcare costs for patients who qualify. Eligibility is based on factors such as your income, household size, assets, and overall financial need. Assistance may include:

  • Discounts on hospital charges

  • Free or reduced-cost care for qualified patients

  • Help enrolling in low-cost or no-cost health insurance programs

  • Flexible payment arrangements tailored to your situation

Why It’s Important to Ask for Help

Federal and state laws require hospitals to seek payment for medical services provided. If you are unable to pay your bill, it could eventually be turned over to a collection agency, which may affect your credit. By letting us know early about financial hardship, we can work with you to avoid these consequences and find a solution that fits your needs.
